I also really appreciate being able to book an appointment on a Sunday. Really nice physical space and ample parking. Great products as well. Happy to have found my way here!

Michael is amazing! He listened to the information I shared about the cut I wanted and did a great job assessing the length and texture of my hair. He created a beautiful cut of long layers and face framing pieces. I've never had a more beautiful blowout. Highly recommend!

The salon itself is nice, and the customer service was great, but unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for me. There seemed to be a miscommunication between me and the stylist, resulting in a cut that didn't suit what I was hoping for. The framing around my face was cut much too short, almost like I have bangs now, and it’s made managing my hair difficult. I can't even tuck it behind my ears, and it constantly falls into my face. I’ve had to buy hairpins just to keep it out of my way for basic tasks like driving, typing, or even seeing clearly.

I was really emotional after I left, even to the point of tears. We had to cancel our family photos scheduled for next week, and I lost our deposit. Since then, I've received several comments from people asking, ‘What happened to your hair?’ or saying, ‘At least it grows fast.’ While the salon might be a good fit for others, it just wasn’t the right experience for me. I’ve had a stylist for years who really understood my hair, and perhaps that made it harder to adjust. By the end of the appointment, I felt uncomfortable and didn’t trust the stylist to fix things without making it worse.

Update: Thank you for reaching out, but nothing can be done. It has to grow out. I have bangs now, which I never asked for. I don't feel comfortable there. I felt like I was given a bad haircut and then was abandoned. There are no tips on styling and no recommendations on products. It was like, oh, what do you think? "I really don't like the front." Ok, well, goodbye. This account is in my maiden name, and I booked under my married name. That is why you can't find me.

After moving to the Triangle a couple of years ago, I have been trying to find a hair stylist who understands curly hair. And I am thankful that I found Mashaal at RPS. Pics attached for the amazing job she did... The best curly cut I got till now.

I am new to NC and Rock Paper Scissors was recommended to me by my niece. I was so happy with my haircut from Michael. He listened to what I wanted and recommended a slight change. It came out exactly what I wanted and needed. They are very friendly and nice and the price was great. Definitely getting my next haircut from Michael.

Highly recommend this salon/barber shop! Laurie was great with my curly hair and taught me how to retrain my hair so that I can style it the way I want to. Gavin has been cutting my partner’s hair for the past year and is always super clean with the razor.

I attended a free haircut day for the first time. First of all, the pride flag at the entrance of the store was very reassuring. I have a habit of pulling out my hair when I'm stressed, so my hair is getting thinner in some areas. When I told them about this, the staff was very kind, so I decided to leave everything to them. She understood me and gave me a nice short hairstyle. The staff were also very kind and made me feel comfortable.

I got there 12 minutes late, but they still sent me home 15 minutes earlier with a still wet hair. They didn’t finalize my curly hair in a professional way, my curls were nowhere to be found. I finally chose to get more layers but it just looks chopped. I do not want to sound rude but if you want to charge $120+tip for a curly haircut, I expect it to be flawless and to have that amazing hair salon finalization. I got an awesome curly haircut in my hometown before, I know what my hair is capable of. My hair was so long, they had the opportunity to do something very nice but I ended up with the worst haircut I ever had. Need to stop selling curly haircut like you are curls “specialist” when you deliver this type of job. Unless the bar is set too low around here… very disappointed. It was done by Laurie btw.
