Would not recommend. I went to Sarah S. and the cut was terrible. It was upsetting, because all I was looking for, was a basic trim with some minor layering, but it was completely uneven. It honestly seemed as though she didn't listen, didn't care, and/or for some reason, just wanted to get rid of me. She also kept dropping the scissors. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Regardless, I just paid, tipped her and left. I thought about going to another stylist, but honestly, there are more than enough salons in Buffalo, and I just didn't feel comfortable, so I have decided to go elsewhere. If you are looking for a friendly stylist, in a comfortable setting, this isn't it.

I absolutely love my new fall haircut! We toned down the summer blonde with some great
Lo lights and a few well placed highlights. Jamie is an incredible stylist and fantastic color. I couldn’t be heavier.

She’s a Mother of the Bride/Groom’s secret weapon for looking fabulous! She gets it and understands what is necessary for flash photography and beautiful photos.

I’ve been coming here for 15 years. The girls at the front desk are so friendly and professional. I have very long hair and Jaimie does the blow out. My hair always looks shiny and healthy. Jaimie, Jana and Nicolina are awesome. Cappellos is your one stop shop from hair, to facials, waxing, mani’a, pedicures and massages. I love it all. I am very fussy and Cappellos is the best in WNY. You will not be disappointed.

If you identify as a person of color especially a darker skinned person I would advise you to go elsewhere for your makeup needs. I had to get my makeup done here two days in a row and both days I was extremely disappointed. While the ladies were very kind I just don’t think they were well versed in makeup on skin with more melanin. I could tell they weren’t comfortable doing my makeup which did not make me feel good as a paying customer. I got airbrush and the makeup was very splotchy after application. The color matching was not good and the makeup did not extend to my neck. Both times the makeup stopped at my chin leaving me to have to go home and blend the makeup into my neck, cover up the splotchy areas, fix my contour, wipe off the excessive blush and highlight. After spending so much money I just expected to have a MUA that knew how to enhance all skin tones.

It was an excellent experience. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Joe the owner made it a point to say hello to me. Joette gave me exactly the cut I was hoping for. Warmed up my hair color for the fall. I would highly recommend.

Maggie is incredible. Amazing wash and massage and shampoo and blow out. She’s fun and knows what she’s doing. Great experience!!!
