Literally did magic on my hair! Had the best experience they really have the best service, I was taken care of from the moment i walked in to the moment I left! Super detailed while cutting my hair and the best head massages with shampoo. So so grateful ?

Hiro did an amazing job with my Japanese permanent straightening and haircut. He's such a perfectionist and patient with everything he did. Couldn't ask for a better experience despite it taking nearly 4 hours. The cost was around $360 without tip. Totally worth it!

So happy I found this lovely salon! I had Tie for my haircut and he was amazing - so meticulous and exceptional. He listened to what kind of haircut I was looking to get and I’m so happy with the outcome! Everyone’s very kind and welcoming in the salon and the salon itself is delightful - will definitely be coming back!

I was assigned a senior hair stylist named Oki who charged $95 for my shoulder length haircut, which was fine if the results were at least decent. See attached photo (click "See Photos") for evidence--notice the abruptness of the cut at the bottom. The other side was not much better, either.

This was after I had pointed it out to him and he could not see my point so I had to capture it on my phone and drew a line along the bottom to show how it was pin straight along the back but it sloped downwards all of a sudden, creating a really weird angle I did not request. Mr. Oki was also annoyed that I pointed out the inadequacy. His body language (making a face while turning away) and verbal language ("Oh, so you did not want it straight then? .. So, you did not want an angle then? ... So, you actually want more layers?") showed it.

Oh, he also ever-so-lightly touched my right breast three times as he cut the front parts. Three times, it happened. Intentional? Customers, you be the judge.

Two words: Take Heed.

Unless, you want to have to correct the haircut, not once, but twice, and you want your breast touched during a (bad) haircut.

*One star, because the lady who shampooed and assisted with coloring was friendly and helpful.

The attention to detail here at Kiwa is next to none. Professionalism and quality is absolutely superb. If you are very particular about your hair and who cuts it, this is the place to go. Tie ensured that my hair was not only taken care of but also was able to identify mistakes made by a prior barber I used. Kiwa provides cuts of the utmost quality. Thank you for your kindness and service. I had compliments almost immediately from strangers after leaving the salon. 10/10

I got my haircut on Sunday from Tie.
He’s the best! Even though I’m his last client of that day, he took his enough time to get my hair cut perfect. Also i brought the reference image, he kept looking at the image to make it similar. And i love it. I’ve been looking for the right hair dresser for a long time and think i found the right person. Thank you Tie!!
