Cutest place ever!! The owners are the sweetest & most welcoming people. Typically it’s hard for me to find a specific salon that I enjoy and want to be consistent at, but I think i’ve found my new go-to! I got a Partial Highlight + Gloss. They listened to what I was going for and did just that! Highly recommend.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. The space, the attention to detail, the care, and the kindness cannot be beat. I loved getting my haircut by Joey! He really tailors the cut to suit one's lifestyle, texture, and face with great mindfulness and skill. I felt super safe and heard in his chair and hands. First of all Mane Duo’s salon is so clean and super cute. Joey and Mischa are amazing and made me feel beautiful as I’m growing my hair out after it all fell out from chemo earlier this year. Joey fixed my color and gave me a cute cut. Can’t wait to come back and see them!

I just moved back to LA and I’m so happy I’ve already found my hairstylist! Both of the owners of this salon are sooo nice and so helpful. I was feeling self conscious and not looking forward to getting my hair done because I just recently took out my hair extensions and my hair was so thin and damaged but they made me feel comfortable immediately and made my hair look amazing! Highly recommend this salon to everyone!

This is my second experience with them .. the best choice in LA .. the first time was a short haircut (mind blowing) . The second was hair color fixing science my hair down is blond and the root was red/brown and he did made very light highlight from the top and more dark down so the final look become chocolate with balanced light highlight .. I really admire his effort with the client ..

I’ll start off by saying Misha and Joey were very courteous, and they have a lovely space. I originally planned on having my hair cut then coming back for color the next day. I called ahead and asked if they worked with my hair type, which is thick and wavy. I was told they could do it. That was a lie - my hair was butchered. I asked for long layers and some face framing while cleaning up the ends. What I got was choppy disconnected layers, a noticeably uneven/asymmetrical cut (both the underside and the top layers of hair), AND what looked like a whole chunk that had been hacked off from the left side.

The next morning, I washed the product out so my curls were more relaxed and it was even worse. Horrified and almost in tears, I called a curly hair specialist who was luckily able to squeeze me in. Sadly, she had to cut off a significant amount fix the damage, leaving me with much shorter hair than I originally wanted. The photo of me in the salon chair was taken by her to show how uneven my hair was when I arrived. Both of us were actually baffled as to how so much had gone so wrong.

I hate leaving such a bad review, but I honestly feel that I need to warn fellow curly haired people about my experience with Mane Duo. I will say, the cut was with Misha, the hairstylist, not Joey, the colorist, although both of them helped diffuse my hair and should have seen the damage before I walked out. I was also offered time with Misha to “clean up the ends” for free, but by this point the trust had been shattered.

In sum, I paid good money here to get a haircut that was objectively bad, resulting in an expensive fix and even worse, a genuinely heartbreaking couple of days.
